2260) Whether I know who can perform yajna! Taught by Srila Prabhupada!
—————-So the distinction is being made by Jiva Gosvami that a brahmana, son of a brahmana, awaits so many ritualistic ceremonies before he is competent to perform yajna. Not that because he’s born of a brahmana father, therefore he becomes eligible to perform yajna. He requires primarily so much purificatory methods. But a Vaisnava, one who has taken to devotional service, for him, it is said, sadyah savanaya kalpate. As soon as he becomes a devotee, he becomes eligible to perform yajna. Savanaya kalpate. That means preference is given to the devotee (more) than to the son of a brahmana. —-—
